Turbotechnica s the Industry leader in Compressor Engineering and is helping the customer in raising their query for World class Quality Services by providing total solutions to any make of Compressor for better performance. The service workshop of Turbotechnica has all modern facilities to strip the rotor, manufacture new parts (like Shaft Spacers, Bushes, Balancing Drum, Thrust Collars etc.) and refit

the new parts. The entire rotor Assembly is accurately balanced in CAB 590 Schenck Balancing M/C, Conforming to API 617 Standards. If specified, Rotor sensitivity test is also carried out under third party Inspection.

The Reconditioning activities for compressors cover the following:

The Centrifugal Babbitting Facility is an innovative Solution created by our company based on our abundant experience and know how in order to supply World Class Quality Bearings with value for money in view. Turbotechnica can now design, manufacture and supply complete range of journal and thrust bearings for the entire spectrum of Rotating Machinery Viz: High speed Industrial Steam Turbines, All types of Pumps, High speed Centrifugal Compressors, Turbo Generators, High capacity Power Turbines (both gas and Steam) & Gear Boxes of all sizes & capacities. The bearings being supplied by us are made to the OEM’s specification with regard to white metal composition and use of State of The Art Centrifuging Technology and precision manufacture under any Third Party Inspection Agency (like Lloyd’s, NTPC etc).
     
 
Life Estimation Studies
     
 
In order to obtain peak performance levels at existing plants, Turbotechnica has ventured into “a life extension and condition monitoring” services, to enable extended productivity by stretching the useful span of dated equipment. Case study of Centrifugal Compressor Rotor :

One of our prestigious customer, M/s. MCF had request us to carryout Condition. Assessment of their machinery to assess their health, as they have been in operation since 25years.Our company had carried out in-depth studies at site covering the following activities on H.P casing of syn gas compressor operating at 240kg/cm2: Visual Examination, Ultrasonic Examination, Dye Penetrant Examination, Dynamic Hardness Testing, Magnetic Particle Examination & Microstructure Analysis. The study revealed defects on 3 impellers and customer was advised to arrange replacement.

Services at Customers doorsteps: We have been awarded Annual Maintenance Contract for operation / maintenance of specialized Equipment in a large Refinery Plant in eastern India. We had stationed crew consisting of dedicated and experienced personnel covering Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation areas.

In addition, we offer following specialized services: Root cause failure analysis, Up rating studies & performance analysis, Metallurgical analysis & NDT tests like MPI, Hardness, UT, DP etc. Further,Turbotechnica is using most advanced tools like CAD programs for Proto type development, replacement parts Design. Recently we carried out re-engineering of many  make BFP for operation under new parameters in  Power Plant. Every component feature is perfected to give maximum operational reliability.
