Is it allowed to distribute electricity within notified SEZ at the bulk supply tariff ?
Can we have a distribution license for distribution of power within SEZ?
Today we have to take seperate single point extra high tension connection for entire SEZ from respective distribution company. They apply high tension tariff which is very costly and most of the units can not afford. If we are treated as one of the distribution licensee only for the specific purpose for distribution power within SEZ, we can purchase power from state owned company, i.e. Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) at the rate which other distribution companies are purchasing.
Can we make joint venture with any existing distribution company of the state or other state?
And get license ?
Does the sez act or ea act-2003 permit ?
