Surat Special Economic Zone is a multi product Zone. It is the main strategic business unit of Diamond and Gem Development Corporation Limited (DGDC).

It is located just 14 Kilometers from the heart of Surat city and lies adjacent to the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Road and Rail routes.

Over 150 units are currently operating in the Zone. These represent various industry segments including, jewellery making, diamond processing, engineering, textiles, textile machinery, and pharmaceuticals and so on.
